Hi everyone,

I recently inherited a full stamp album from Yugoslavia, covering the period from 1944 to around 1970. This is just one of several albums in the collection, but it's the only one I've photographed so far.

The album contains 103 pages with what appears to be a wide range of issues, including commemoratives, airmail, and possibly some overprints. I'm hoping to get your expert opinions on the estimated value of the collection, and I'm also open to offers from anyone who might be interested in purchasing it.

Since it's too large to upload each page here, I've created a Google Drive link where you can view the full album (please ask me and I can send you the link)

I'd really appreciate any guidance or insight — especially if you spot something rare or collectible!

Thank you in advance!

At the risk of bursting the proverbial bubble, a collection that contains Yugoslavian stamps from 1944 to 1970 will not have the word "rare" associated with it. It will be collectible for someone because as a wiseman once said about cars there is an a** for every seat. Generally though, collections of post war Yugo bring little money.

Thank you for the fast reply, "rogdcam". I also didn't expect rare and costly stamps in this collection, but anyway... If someone wants to see the collection, please contact me via my e-mail (I think it is embedded on my profile) and I can send you the link. Thanks again

If it's complete with the higher CV items, probably in the £100-200 range. As others have said, there's a market, but not enough of one to push up prices.

@jmyp88, it is not possible to send or receive emails before you have 50 'quality' posts. In addition, you cannot offer items for sale before that time. Posting links and emails may result in moderators editing your posts.

You might be better off looking for a listing on platforms like Delcampe, ebay, or Catawiki.

Thanks for the info NSK. I wasn't primarily looking to sell the albums, just to get an estimated value (if possible). I almost have 0 knowledge about stamps etc... that's why I created this account, and asked for someone who has that knowledge to answer. I am not going to share my email here to avoid removing the post.

You could post a selection of four or five scanned pages (usually the older ones) for people to get an impression. Use the image optimizer to manage the file size within the 300kB limit.

Here's something similar that sold recently on ebay - would go for less in a UK auction

What is holding the stamps to the album pages? Hinges? Some sort of mount? Either of these types could affect the gum on the back and drop the values.
