I bought a collection(not in hand yet) that has these stamps marked silk fibers. This is a new one to me. Anyone have any insight on this?

Fair enough. Just never heard of "silk fibers" in anything other than revenue stamps. Thank you.#128591;#127995;

When these items arrive, would you be willing to post a couple of high res scans (600-1200) of these stamps so we can get a good look at them?

I'd like to see the fibers showing on your 6c, and the 3c might be good for comparison.

The fibers will show up best in the outside margins and/or in the upper white parts of the hair. You could show us good scans of those spots even if you can't see anything there yourself.

And if they don't show up on the obverse, the reverse might be an easier field of view.

I'm not an expert at all with silk fibers, but to me it always looks like people are really reaching pretty far to show that there is evidence of any fibers in the matrix. I see a couple circled in the one stamp, but no circles or evidence in the pair. I'll wait for more expert advice, but a photo is definitely not as good as the requested scan for these purposes.
