I hope this hasn't been shown before. Scott 1901 coil pair. 1870s: the high-wheel bicycle  I don't know who the engraver was. Nethryk would though I'm sure. The Transportation series was one of the finest and most interesting definitives produced by the BEP, even though my judgement is based on only the few I have. Someone should show the whole set in the Collecting by Engravers thread |
