Jugoslavian Trieste.

On May 2, 1953 DDR/East Germany issued a set of three stamps for the 6th International Long-Distance Ride for Peace. The journey went from Prague to Berlin, and then on to Warsaw. Stamps are Michel #s 355-7.

This old Bavarian cinderella promotes the 27th congress of the General Cyclists' Union in Ansbach from the 19th-25th of July, 1912. It is noted that there will be cycling competitions and demonstrations.

This colorful Delandre cinderella from 1914-15 honors the French 41st Infantry Battalion and features 2 bicycles.

Unfortunately, despite selling many stamps, Delandre failed to pay the Red Cross their share of the proceeds and in 1917 he was arrested. He subsequently died in jail in 1923."
