UN Geneva Office issued a sheet of 10 stamps and labels to celebrate World Bicycle Day
I do appreciate the UN decided to issue it, but they could have hired a better graphic designer for it... One of the reasons I stopped collecting on bicycle theme was sad to see too many issues failed to show the beauty of bicycles and cycling. Subject suits to the stamp format (as we see excellent examples on this thread, mainly old ones), but many are not well executed.

it also has a chain guard, to prevent damage to the pouch

the front wheel needs urgent repair – broken/missing spokes
plus, the seat stay is stretched to a wrong angle... I think this is the drawing mistakes rather than the bicycle maintenance!!

By the way, does anyone tell me issued year of this 50c stamp below, from Apeldoorn, a region of Netherlands? I think this is a postman on bike, too (and the seat stay is on the right angle).

p.s. issues on 1 November 1989 - It is still in time for correction, so I am adding here the data. Thank you,
