I've been searching with some effort, but this is a challenge. Does anyone have any knowledge of this stamp?

That is a terrible way to handle stamps. Use a tweezers.
Add more details. It isn't exactly clear what you want help with.
Get a clearer image.

To me, it looks like what I think is called selvage, which is the paper attached to stamps around the edge of a sheet. It was probably connected to an actual stamp, and that is why it is cancelled, but at some point was separated, either accidentally or intentionally. I don't know though.
