Hi. I apologize if this is the wrong section or if this has already been covered.

How can I find out when stamps are going to be issued?

How can I find out what post offices have the first day cancellations?

Thanks for any information you can share. I want to get in on the fun of making first day covers.

If you're asking about US stamps, isn't this on the USPS website?

I would think it would be on the USPS website. And it very well might be, but I can't find it.

USPS.COM will list the 1st day of issue, the Post Office(s) where it is being issued, technical information, and a history of the issue. It also provides information on stationary, & other items related to the issue, such as formats, # of designs. You just need to dig for some but most is available with a couple of clicks The issues are noted at least 30 days prior to issuance (in most cases).
