What does the use of the word "memorex" mean here? The only memorex I know made magnetic tape.
Also, did you mean to post it ending on "but"? But what?

I don't like the blue cancel. Looks like a crayon, not the usual blue ink.

also I don't like the detail Especially in "New York". Look at this from Siegel:

This blue cancel is typical.

There is much more detail in the lettering.

"or Memorex" comes from the commercial for Memorex back in the 70's or 80's. Heard voice of singer and then the phrase "was it name or Memorex" indicating you couldn't tell if the voice was real or a taped (on Memorex, of course) version.

I believe the singer was Ella Fitzgerald.

Looks like a fake. Take a look at the lettering, the cancel (agree that it looks like crayon, not ink), the high contrast of the coat's pattern versus the more muted contrast in the Siegel example.

Appreciate all the feedback. I really wasn't expecting it to be real but one can hope.It does look better in person and I can verify that is blue ink but just doesn't look like a typical cancel that I have compared it to. Thanks again!
