I have a few of the first US Postal Cards but I am having no success in being able to see the watermarks. I tried lighter fluid, looking at the card held up to the sun, and both UV lights.

Anyone know the trick?

Thanks!

(Youmay also want to edit youtrtitle from UX2 to UX3.)

Need to backlight them with a strong light. They can be difficult to see at first, but once you have seen a couple it becomes easier.

Thanks! I do have a small light table. I'll have to find it and give it a try.

I use my Ott light, inverted, and a mask cut out of cardboard to shield my eyes from the excess light. Works quite well even for separating UX4 from UX5.
