Cheers for you, Anthony, on my part. I appreciate your photostream with large 1024 x 765 size close-ups. Just splendid!

And I do find your engraver index on p. 47 most useful for quick cross-reference.

Please note that nethryk has recently specified his info on Barbara Szymańska-Kowalska (1932 -) - see his post in "Children on Stamps", p. 1. In the index she is listed as Barbara Kowalska (1932 -) only.

The catalogue of the exhibition "Dessinateurs et graveurs de timbres-poste" held in Paris from 17/12/1976 to 09/01/1977 says that Ky Phungchaleun (1938 -) worked as designer of postage stamps for the Postal Services of Laos from 1969 to 1974 and after his arrival in Paris he did the same job for BEPTOM (Bureau d'Etudes des Postes et Télécommunications d'Outre-Mer). Does he engrave stamps as well?

I am happy to be able to help a little.

florian - Thanks for all your help. I have not come across any stamps or references indicating that Ky Phungchaleun may be an engraver as well as a stamp designer.

During his career Monvoisin designed and/or engraved some 250 stamps for various postal administrations worldwide. Here are images of five examples of Monvoisin's design and engraving work.
