Since I am new to stamp collecting, I have been searching the net for stamps and I thought I would make this thread for the stamps that I find beautiful during my search.

Please feel free to comment on any stamps that I post, as any comment or info you will post will educate me.

As found in Stanley Gibbons Stamps of the World 2009, the Elvis sheet (Bhutan) is listed as one of a set of 6 sheets (MS 1732) with an overall value of GB 17 pounds; the Railway sheet (Bhutan) is listed as MS 1612, with a value of GB 4 pounds; the American Revolution Bicentenary sheet (Aitutaki, Cook Islands) is listed as MS 189, with a value of GB 1.75 pounds.

I like the railway one. I like the lady in red in the scene below the train on the souvenir sheet.

The Elvis one is pretty cool but I like the bottom two the best.

I like castles. Looking at these makes me want to play war games with them. Especially with the map plan on that one.

The Taj Mahal is actually a tomb, not a castle. I just learned this myself thhis year.

There are some nice palaces in India.
