I have just found this redirected cover addressed to ML 267 but cannot make out to name of the officer - service number V5941. Can anyone offer any suggestions please - (?Darlies? or something like that)

The Motor launce ML-267 was handed over to the Free French forces after it was completed which possibly suggests that the officer this cover is addressed to may have been a French Canadian.
Motor Launch ML-267 was destroyed during the St Nazaire Raid (Operation Chariot) on 28 March 1942, It was then commanded by Lieutenant Eric H. Beart who was killed during the operation.
I am in the UK and have to rely on on-lines sources but I can find no trace of an RCNVR officer with a name similar to the one on the cover. The service number is not among the list of Canadians killed during WW2,
Chat GPT says "During World War II, Canadian service numbers that began with the letter "V" were used by the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR)." Which makes sense.
Any thoughts?
