Is this a common booklet on the U.S. Presidential Series? Was it a promotional item given that the inside shows it was published by an advertising service out of Pittsburgh?

Just wondering. It has a lot of biographical and statistical information on the issues, but I haven't seen any of them around.

Good question. I have not seen that before either. How many pages is it?

It's in booklet form (paper cover) all in B&W (typical of the day). 43 pages. Further intro. says "Sales and Distributing Agent: Washington Stamp Club of the Air, Washington, DC".

Lists biographical info. and "firsts" of the stamp (i.e. 1st plate #'s, 1st sent to press, 1st day of sale, 1st day cover statistics, design and portrait engraver, etc. It also finishes with a page of rejected models for the 50c, $2 and $5 varieties.
