Thanks for the information Sungeidai. According to my currency exchanger 1,000RMB = about $163.00 US(for the White Haired Girl). I checked at the library and the 2010 Scott value is $110.00.
My late father was a banker and he received the collection in a small Chinese stock book from a customer who went to China in the 1970's with a Canadian trade mission.
