Think this is a UX10, c1899 from postmark and text. Kinda fun.

Very nice! The period advertising really makes it a standout.

First card is a UY1, though. First of it's kind as a prepaid reply card. The second "Wait for the Wagon" card is a UX7. In my opinion, both are worth more for the advertising value than the "catalog value" would suggest.

I don't find UY? My catalog says UX. Can you explain the difference, please? Never mind... I kept looking and there it was. UY :) Thanks

UX are regular postal cards, UY are the 2 part postal reply cards.

Hmmmm..there's a whole slew of Babcocks buried in the cemetary just south of me. I wonder if they are related.
