I have this block of four stamps perf 11 X 10X1/2.
Can you tell me what varation this is and if you can varation of color. Thanks Hoping 634a or 634b..
If this helps any it came with stamp booklet.

634 carmine varies from pale to dark. Many times the darker carmine is confused with the lake color. The 634 lake are extremely rare and the color is very distinctive with its purplish shade. I do not see any sign of the recut in the hair (Type II). To me it looks like a carmine 634 (Type I).
