My PSS-275 is also 11.5mm spacing. I'll send this question into the PSS Catalog Editor and see what he says. We are turning up some great precancel questions on this forum. Keep them coming!
Well, our forum made history again - in a modest way. The PSS catalog editors will change the description for PSS-272 to include these narrower line spacings. The PSS-275 is based on the PSS-272 (275 being in 3 lines of letters, 272 in 2 lines). It is not considered a new government style because these various line spacings occur frequently.
I will ask the same question of Frankie... what ruler software do you use???? I have some other stamps I need to measure. [and is it freeware?] Thanks for any help/CA
Frankie here: Nothing fancy really! To measure, I use the mm end of my postage stamp perforation gauge. After I scan the stamp, I just go into my photo shop program, draw in the lines and add the text.
