Thumbing through stuff and came across this cause I had not identified the company yet. Thought it was kinda neat. Postmarked Alaska with 1959 Alaska Air Mail with a rich Alaska invites you envelope from an Alaskan company. Picture postcards beware, this is your picture envelope.

Nice cover! Very attractive Alaskan prints.

Not at all certain this is the same individual, but it would sure be interesting to find out if the "Richard E. Reedy" addressee may be the same individual who was an executive with Lustron, the post-WW2 Prefab Housing company that still has a cult following today...he also was the designer of some Freuhauf tractor trailers. The only connection I can make is that he did reside in Columbus, Ohio. A web search of "Lustron" and "Reedy" comes up with some interesting documents/books on those endeavors which makes for some very interesting reading for those interested in such topics.

I love it. It's a shame the condition isn't the best but it certainly could be much worse. Reminds me of the kind of thing I used to see in gift shops as a kid.
