US Stamps From An Old Album

James, are you sure that these few pieces are worthed to be shipped overseas? I am living in Croatia (Europe), and some kind of registered airmail, I am afraid, will cost much more than the value of these few stamps. I will get more stamps in the future, so, if these ones are not so crucially important to you, maybe we can wait that I get some more?

so, if you still think that they worths for you, I will pick them, before I let the album go. But, if they are not so special, I will let the album go as it is, because it is nicer to see the album without picked pieces.

The stamps look good to me and would be a great addition to my collection. As I said I would prefer to trade, just let me know what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you have someone who wants the entire album and would prefer to see it intact then go ahead a let it go to them. As you say, these are fairly common, I'm sure they will come up again in the future. I just figured this was an opportunity to do some swapping.

later...Filipo, I would like these stamps, but if you are feeling uneasy, or feel they may be too valuable to trade, just let me know and that will be that. I don't expect to get something for nothing, or for you to be out of pocket. And I'm not sure it's necessary to send them registered, if that is too cost prohibitive.

James, as I mentioned before, this album is in an excellent condition for its ages (it is from the 1940-is), and I will be most happy to let it go in the condition which I got it. Because I don't know anything about value of these stamps at all, could you tell me, please, how much is app. trade value of these 6 stamps you are interesting in? It will help me to decide to let this album to go as I got it, or to do some picks for you. I will be most happy to present this album as I got it, but, of course, will be stupid just to present something for which I can get something more important for me in trade. And the last question, if you will need to choose 3 stamps from the 6 you previously selected, which 3 will be most interesting to you? I just say that because it will be nicer that 3 stamps are missing on the pages than 6 ones! :)
