I like this little collection :)Nice stamps filipo. Reminds me of a few pages I have that are my favorite to just sit and stare at. I have questions about each one! Anyone willing to share any info on any of these stamps, I'd love to read!

Nice little collection. Shame some look a little beat up. I love the little red Massachusetts Bay Colony stamp (red, third panel, second row, second from right). I always thought the US stamps of 1929-30 had a great look. Tiny and jam packed full of detail.
That's also a really nice dollar Franklin bottom right corner of the top group!

You've got a decent looking $1 Franklin! The precancels are fun to see too.

I now collect mint stamps primarily, but I did start out with mostly used. These pages remind me of those. I enjoy looking at them all wondering where each of the stamps went on their journeys and what they carried along the way. Those are pages of history. Each cancel, tear, and bent perforation is a badge of duty to the USPS.

Most of these are fairly common postage. However, the Franklins & Washingtons (the types I'm showing here) should be checked for types (paper, perfs, recuts, watermarks, etc) ... of which there are too many to list and too difficult to tell from the pix provided ... as they may range in value from .20 to hundreds of $$ depending on type. I'm not trying to get your hopes up, but you have to be certain before deciding what to do with them :)

From my personal collection ...

I also like the little collection that you have. It reminds me of my collection of US stamps I had when I was younger.

What are your plans for these pages, filipo? Do they add to your collection or are you looking to sell or trade?

Thanks to all for the replies! :)

James, this is a complete worldwide album, but I just scanned USA pages. It is not specially valuable (but, I am not expert, so it is very useful to hear other opinions, like here), and I will probably give it as a present... But I just wanted to show some of the parts here, before I let it go.

If you like one or two stamps, I can pick them and send to you :D

Good morning filipo (and everybody else). They may not be worth a lot, but it isn't always about value, so much as nicely filling a couple of holes. But I would insist on a trade. I have a good stock of world stamps I sell on ebay, so may have something to interest you. I can send you some suggestions by email if you'll give me an idea where your interests lie.
Look forward to hearing from you , and thanks for taking my subtle hint. ;}

Hi again!

James, in which stamps you are interested?

Rohumpy, Rileysan... would you like that I make extremely high resolution scans of the specific ones, so that you can find the details you are interesting in? It is not problem for me... I like to make scans :) If you would like that, please, let me know which scans exactly you wants larger!

I looking at the early (1917ish) Franklins. 8, 10, 20, 50 cent and $1 (both if possible, they appear to be different issues).
This is just a wish list. Let me know what you think. As I mentioned in my email to you, I am more than happy to do a trade, name your poison.
Thanks.

Second scan ... third row ... third stamp. I think you posted that previously in the precancel forum, questioning if it is Rochester, NY (which it is) but seems to be spelled incorrectly as "Rocnester". That could be worth holding onto as no one seemed to know much about that "error" and/or whether or not it had been previously documented. It could be worth a bit more than the common variety with the city name spelled correctly.

Filipo ... I am defintely not an expert on these stamps and wouldn't be able to offer much help even with high quality scans. Additionally, there's no way to discern the watermark types (or lack thereof) even with high quality scans of the back. These have some of the most difficult watermarks in all of philately to identify ...

Filipo, there are so many factors in the identification of the Washington-Franklins, that a scan alone may not be enough. You have to get into watermarks which a scan can't show. Even with the stamp in hand, determining the watermark is not guaranteed. Plus you have perforations, printing methods and tiny details in the designs. All in all, the Washington-Franklins present a fair challenge. But a satisfying one.
