Those are real wide side margins, I didn't think that was usual for this issue. Still, it's a great looking 3 1/2 margin copy.

I think that 400 to 450, he would have a better chance at selling it.

Here is a different stamp by the same seller.
http://cgi.ebay.com/MINT-US-113-M-F...em3a64c0bb53

Mint 113, only thing I can see is the crease. but with a CV of $800.00+.
129.00 is a good deal..
This one I WOULD buy if I didn't already have one.

Atrocious centering and a crease to boot. These can be had with better centering for under $250, I'd wait it out.

stallzer.

centering for this is very good, if you find one of these that is perfectly centered, without a crease, you will pay a lot more then 800.00 for it.
these were not known for good centering. and he only wants $129.00....
and I haven't bought it, I just posted about it. I have one already, I don't need another.

Here is one with much better centering for $190. Catalog is $800, real world is $160 - $250 for one with VF centering. When spending over $100 to $200, depending on the piece, one can usually wait it out and find one where the perfs don't cut into the Vignette.

stallzer..
two issues
the one you posted is no gum, that is why it is listed as "unused" $190.00 for a no gum stamp is not worth it, unused no gum is 275.00 in VF condition.

unused OG in F-VF is still over $500.00 dollars... now you tell me which is the better deal? 69% for a unused no gum or 23% for a unused OG?

that stamp is still considered F-VF, the centering is not that much different. and the value is MUCH less.

and the perfs on that stamp do cut into the vignette.

Like I said, I was in the middle of getting nagged and had to abandon the process, I didn't even look or read about the stamp which is why I apologized in the post 2 above yours. The major problem with the one for $129 is the crease. It all but destroys any value and the going rate for a nice 113 with a grill is like I stated, $160 -250. I realize there are people trying to sell them for more, but I'm sure not many are biting. As for the "No gum" I wouldn't care as I Don't collect gum, I collect stamps.

OK, with the feedback about the seller of the #2 identified by nitrolures given on this site I made an offer, then got a counter offer, then I bought it. I am now the very proud owner of the #2 identified above. Tickled pink would be a better way of saying it. I can't wait to get it. Mr. Franklin won't be so lonely and will now have some more company on his sheet. Thanks for the link nitrolures!
