I just ran across this cover this morning while my daughter & I was poking around ebay and thought it was really great! I'm actually watching the pink panther right now with my daughter (she's 4 as of last week) and it's our favorite morning cartoon. I wanted to share it with you.
I loved watching the Pink Panther as a kid. In fact I had a 45 of the Pink Panther theme (actually still have it!) Probably the only 10 year old on my block to have a Henry Mancini record.
It will be funny that some post office issue a Pink Panther stamp, and some error occurs on very few copies, and that error become so famous and once "Pink Panther f. ex. inverted" become more valuable than original diamond. Thank we will have:
The Pink Panther, a "Pink Panther" of the stamps, with a motive of Pink Panther himself.
Stolen, but inspector Clouseau is searching for it.
He found it, but accidentally affixed on the postcard, and sent in an unknown direction.
OK, it is not a stamp. It is one of four different utilities I have in my registry set for the 1972 Pink Panther Kite Fun Book. Can't miss a chance to show it off.
