Found this postcard in someone's cover bin at the Minnesota Stamp Expo. I picked it up because I had never seen the machine cancel before. Any information on it would be appreciated.
Some additional information: The Doremus machine cancels are similar to the Barr-Fyke machince cancels, but are different in two major ways. The first, you'll notice that Smauggie's example has the state following the name of the town. In a Barr-Fyke, the state will be at the bottom and the town at the top of the arc. Second, the vertical bars of a Doremus machine cancel are usually 15mm or less in height and those of the Barr-Fyke are usually in excess of 20mm. The Doremus machine cancels tend to be more common and I've come across them on postcards and covers, but I don't see the Barr-Fyke's all that often and probably because they were used for a shorter period of time - up to about 1905 while the Doremus machine cancels were used past WWI.
