Can anyone assist me in identifying the user of these three US perfins?

The first one "D P" is on a Detroit, MI precancel from the 1926 regular issue.

The second one "D&M" is on an Auburn, NY precancel from the 1926 regular issue.

The third one "DLI" is on the Army & Navy For Defense Stamp and is not a precancel. Curious that it has two dot perfins at the bottom of the stamp, possibly identifying the location?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give in identifying these examples.

The two dots are the beginning of the next perfin DLI
You are seeing the head of the "D"

Thanks for the help on the DLI perfin.

I had forgotten about this previous post, where the D&M perfin was identified as from a shoe company:

Dunn & McCarthy, Inc. - perfin pattern D148, $.15.

Now all I have left to identify is the "D P" perfin that is precanceled Detroit, Michigan. Any ideas? Detroit (Free) Press, maybe?

Is it "DP" or actually a freak "PD" (i.e., perfin is shifted way off center).

Then I would say, Parke-Davis.

I gotta get back into perfins, I'm missing out on too much fun.

If you like perfins, join the Perfins Club. They are a warehouse of information. They also have a sales circuit with items priced from 10 cents each! All grades, all countries. {end advertisement} Ha!

I never even thought of that! I have these perfins in separate glassine envelopes waiting to ID and I have the "P D" one identified properly (in fact, I even suggested it in the previous post) it's just that I never connected the idea that "D P" could have been a freak that should have read "P D".

I guess I've now identified all three!

Thanks for the help.
