These 2 stamps were found in a cut off page of an very old stamp album.
They look similar but actually 2 different types.
Will be appreciate if any experienced collector here can share a bit about these 2 stamps.

Facsimile reprints [fakes] of US Confederate issues. No value.

Agree. Possibly Springfield reproductions. Notice mouse type in lower left corner of stamp on right.

No catalog value, anyway. It doesn't mean someone might not be willing to part with money in exchange for them.

I know very little about these, but if they are Springfield reproductions, as previously suggested, you may find this to be interesting reading as to the background behind them:

I checked by using an eye loupe and those are uneven dots.

In that case, these are forgeries and not reprints/facsimiles. In either case, these two stamps are very poorly reproduced. I am all for destroying them ...

For myself, when something has absolutely, positively been confirmed as a forgery, I'm all for indelibly marking it as such. (In ink, on the back, seems appropriate.)

It can be interesting to show forgeries and reprints next to original items. Marking them ensures that my heirs don't inadvertently recirculate bad material as good material.

Just my 2d. I also understand tossing it in the garbage.

That`s a really good advice... (my father did the same with some stamps he was able to identify)... so I`m a heir, that not just won`t be recirculating bad material as good, but in case of some issues can observe the differences easier.
-edit: and can share with others here:

among them my Moldavian `Cap de bour`- due to my fathers note I never had any illusion (although that one I doublechecked..., and I am ashamed, it won`t ever happen again)

I also agree with keeping them, and marking accordingly. I think forgeries in their won right can be very collectible as long as they are noted as such. I have one Springfield now, eventually I'll get them all.

I have two kids (3 and 8 years old), so that`s thought-provoking, who knows what my now 3 years old son will do with my collection when I`m gone... on the other hand, when a forgery is marked, it`s ok. And since I`m using the internet for research I met many times warnings ("the same forgery was discussed here..." "the same forgery was offered here..."), so it`s really a good idea to show them. When I`m not sure, I ask and show a picture of it, leaving a track of it. Especially those with cancellation can be tracked down...
