i know this is not a great find but kind of nice to find something not as common. 634a but a 634b..

i can not really see about the ear with cancel but the other signs are here...

I am not a student of these varieties but I did take your stamp image and place it next to a known 634b from a philatelic web site. At the very least, I can see a distinct difference in the hair above the ear (as highlighted in the circle of your stamp) against a known 634b and therefore it would appear to me that these varieties do not match:



Maybe some other SCF members can provide further information.

what shows up on this stamp that I can see is the strong line on the upper acanthus scroll..
this I know is only one characteristics of this type....but there I think the cancel may hide some of the other items on this type....i am just looking you any thoughts.

Look between the T & E in STATES on your stamp. Looks like it's missing some ink?

i noticed that also but look between the you and the n....i think this is common with this series....i have many with the lack of ink.
