Hi all,
i'am Maurizio an italian Collector of U.S.A. Stamp
In the beginning I want to excuse me for my bad English.
I have some question for you, I not have been answered in my country





i want know if the first stamp is really of 1870-71 brookman catalogue number is 141 webster Color Orange.

The One cent or washington have a perforation of 10X11 but I not have find in the my catalogue this stamp

and the two exemplar of 1cent Postage Due Stamps, not have watermarker (i have see whit the liquid for detect) is the 1c. Vermillion of 1894-95 issue, in the brookman the numeber is: J29



and if possible I want know the Id of this perfin, and I not see in the catalogue the stamp of Stock Transfer 1$

Maurizo, welcome to SCF. The 15 cent Webster was printed by 3 different companies. 1870-73 National Bank Note Co. 141 with grill and 152 without grill, 1873-79 Continental Bank Note Co. 163, and 1879-1881 American Bank Note Co 189. If it has a grill it is a 141 and if it is printed on soft porous paper it is 189. The differences between the 152 and 163 are pretty minor and difficult to tell apart. If you can post a higher resolution scan of the 15 cent we can probably identify it for you.

The 1 cent 10x11 is 542 issued in 1920.

I'd be interested in response to your KF (over) S perfin, as I have several of them as well, which I have not yet identified.

As to your last scan of a New York Stock Transfer Stamp, there is an interesting article on the subject starting on page 14 in this publication (it quite a large file, so it takes a couple of minutes to download):
