Where do I find Archival Grade ALkaline Buffered Paper at about #40 weight. I hope it is made. If it isn't what do you use to protect your stamps and maintain their quality for years to come?

Welcome to Stamp Collecting Forum!

In response to your specific question, I don't know of a provider for the type of archival grade paper you have asked about, however, this recent thread may be of interest to you on the very question of alkaline buffered paper and the use of it for stamp albums:

You should be able to get archival grade paper at a specialty paper store-but it is going to cost you.

Personally,I find "acid free" paper adequate, and not expensive.

I purchase my archival materials from ArchivalMethods.com. They have archival paper in the 70# range. $10.80 for a package of 100.

Cheers, Robert

As the linked thread shows, get cotton paper and be done with it.

Thank you very much. I guess the cotton paper is more than up to the task at hand.

I use archival paper with cotton in it. I love it, it feels much heavier than it actually is. It costs me $27.99 for 400 sheets.

Dianne, Do you buy ivory or 96 bright white? Where do you buy your paper from?

I think mine is called natural. Same as ivory. I have a couple of albums that are in white but I prefer the more subdued tone of the natural. I get mine at staples. It's with the fine business paper and resume paper.
