Nr-notrare sent me some stamps to use to practice gauging the perfs on stamps. (Thanks, Tom!) It isn't that easy sometimes, that's for sure! You need two different types of gauges to do this correctly. I saw an article somewhere about shrinkage with soaking stamps (sorta like washing a 100% cotton tee shirt ). I never thought it would make that big of a difference, but sometimes it can, even though it's considered very minimal shrinkage.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!
Gussyboy

You're welcome Gussy.....you should look into getting one of the new plastic style for the serpentine perf's......especially if you're going to be hunting for used FOP PNC's......I think Linn's carries one for about $5 or $6.00
