I have a few hundred of these, most with typed addresses on the
front, but none have ever been cancelled. All have a pre-printed
salesman's form letter on the back. A very few are blank on the
front as one pictured here. By far, most look like the one with
the typing on the front. Again, none are cancelled.

What to do with these? It's a thick stack. Are they worth anything?
Should I re-address them, pump up the postage, and use them?
Probably wouldn't make them worth less than they are now... ???
Anyone need some and want to do some trading?

They are either UX27 or UX28. I am pretty sure 27, but I might be
wrong.

What I find weird is they are supposed to be from the 1910s (teens),
yet seem to be dated in the 1940s right in the address. ???
A salesman must have found a stack to use, then realized they were
obsolete and just file 13'd them after all that work. That is all
I can figure.

Any guesses?

These are the #UX27 1914- 1916. The green on cream is around $4.50 to $5.00. If you have any on gray, rough, surfaced card then you are into a much higher value ranging from $275 to $12,000 depending on the die.

Double or triple impressions on the cream brings 4 figures too.

Would you like to trade one for some used US stamps?

Of course I'm no expert in postal cards so it may well be the #28, just take a measurement the #27 is 140 x 28mm and the #28 is 127 x 76mm.

How much are the ones with the address typed on them
devalued? I have hundreds of those. Only 2 or 3 blank
ones. Again, none have been postally cancelled.

I must be missing something... My Scott catalog says the
difference between the dies is in the hair on the back of
Jefferson's head. Am I mixing up my UX numbers?
I thought Die 1 was 27 and Die 2 was 28... Or were
they designated differently?

It is hard to say but it looks like anywhere from $1.00 to 65 cents for the green on cream card.
