Baomo - I am very impressed! Learning to read and/or speak Russian isn't rocket science - it's harder!

BTW -that first card looks a lot like my house.

Yes, a couple of those cards had German captions, as well.

I'll be putting up some others but found this one interesting since it
is just one poster-like word.

Hard to believe that first card is an Easter card
but it does look like people entering a Church in
the background. I guess those Russian Easters tend
to be colder.

and easter occurs later in the orthodox calendar, I guess its still snowy and cold up there.

The Easter card was used and has a handwritten message on the
back. Would you like to see that? I can scan it and post it if you
would like to take a shot at translating a personal, handwritten
message, too.
