Hi everyone, do you think this block is fake or some kind of reprint? Any opinion?

The image is really fuzzy. It reminds me of making a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy; the quality of the image gets worse and worse each time.

If I were presented with this exact image in an online auction, I would not consider this block to be real, but rather a picture of a poor photocopy.

I think I actually remember seeing this as an illustration in a book awhile back but I can't remember when or where? I believe it was most likely a copy of it- and a poor one at that!

I am no expert but I can tell you this much if you are contemplating buying this on ebay or any other site please be aware there are a lot of fraudsters out there.

I have seen a lot of this kind of garbage on ebay lately. This is just a worthless facsimile and nothing more. If it is being represented as anything else it should be reported. Can you give us a link or an item #?

These are worthless but the original was was a block of 12 (3x4) that sold in 1988 for $24,000. Siegel Auctions Sale 692 lot 57.
