This one fits the description of US Meter Catalog# M13 but it has a prefix with the mail class, and the Pitney Bowes trademark "ComBasPrice" which as I understand it means Commercial Base Pricing.

Anyone seen any other variants?

I have a couple of similar M13's as shown below. In my case, there's no prefix words for Presort, First Class Mail or ComBasPrice, as those are special services that would be imprinted if the parcel required it. In the case of the one shown below it was on a standard #10 envelope so 46-cents postage is all that was required:

The most interesting thing I find about these meters is that they have adjusted the denomination settings to accommodate up to three figures, meaning that up to $999 could be imprinted, if necessary.

The M13's are identified as being part of the Pitney Bowes Connect + Series of Digital Postage Meters first introduced in 2010.

Meter impressions have been used to pay for postage due for a Business Reply mail postage bill. I guess these could be used to pay for quote a few business reply mailings.

What is also interesting about this type is that it has the ability to print along the entire top margin of a #10 envelope, allowing for return address printing as well as possibly slogans.

Interesting thread. I see that the meter book has added some new images since I was last in there.

Now, I have to go in and check on the Canadian, GB, Belgian and German meters. Just when I thought all my work was finished

Actually, the work never ends but that is ok by me.

Some day they will just implant a disposable, nano-scale RFID chip. I don't fancy collecting something like that.

Here is a PC type I cannot identify based on descriptions in the catalog.

The mail type is outlined, rather than solid.
No value is shown
Instead of ComBasPrice, it says ComPlsPrice.

FYI, "ComBasPrice" = Commercial Base Pricing; "ComPlsPrice" = Commerical Plus Pricing, both of which are USPS services geared to commercial customers based on the quantity, size and weight of their parcels.

Here is PC type meter I am having trouble identifying. It is from a religious supplier (which explains the message at the bottom).

I find it fascinating that there is an option to add a little message at the bottom of the meter label.

This meter is from Stamps.com

I wonder if those little messages at the bottom of the meter label are customized as the user prefers or if they must select them from a given list of possible phrases? It seems to me if you can put a "God Bless You!" phrase in there, it would be just as easy to put a less desirable phrase there as well, should a sender wish to send a different message.

You cracked me up when you said, "Less desirable phrase." All sorts of less desirable phrases came to mind. :)

Maybe you can choose your own phrase, but it has to be "approved" in some way? For example, I have a little phrase added above the signature line on my personal checks. I was able to put any phrase I wanted, but I assume if I had tried to use something obviously inappropriate, the printing company would have contacted me. ;)

Here is probably an unlisted type of the H2 Meter from the National Postal Meter company.

The catalog does not list a type with a fraction.
