Yes that is the whole stamp! What a shame someone felt the need to trim it so. Is there any way to identify it with so little image left showing.

A better image would be nice but I think I can see a recut top line which makes the stamp a Type IV, Scott #9.

Hi all, Since we have this topic. Is there any way to get an I.D. on this Franklin one cent. It looks trimmed on the left side. Any help would be appreciated. Gary

Gary....
I would say #24. Trimmed on the left side.
Due to close spacing on the issue if a stamp was to be on the right side it
would show with the right vertical perfs thru design.
I would say this is a position 10...10,20,....100
Meaning 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 ----10

Since no design at right a straight edge cannot be on the left

The left side was trimmed with two snips of the scissors.
