I cannot find a vertical pair online anywhere. Plenty of horizontal but no vert. Anyone seen the 112 as a vertical pair?
Shame about the bad perfs lower right. These are almost perfect. Alas they are stampcrow certified....

Horizontal pairs have more perfs holding them together, and they take up less room on a document. For both those reasons they will be somewhat more common. However in the end, a pair is a pair, and the catalog does not differentiate. Neither do most collectors, at least for perforated and imperf pairs. For part perfs vertical pairs are the norm, only certain stamps exist imperf vertically which produces horizontal pairs. This is the site for revenue multiples:

To answer your question, I have seen several vertical pairs of this stamp.
