Appearances on the general power search on Siegel are deceiving when multiples show up. The prices shown for the items sold appears in the lower right portion of the listing, not the top right. I discovered that when I did a search on one of my stamps which only displayed a single item. If you do your search using the numbers supplied it will bring up just that sale.

I know all about this site, I have used it countless times for research. However I just searched under C15 and not under that specific sale.

Did you perhaps mean a "wealthy" or "well-heeled" collector?

No, I meant that the stamp shown in this thread is a stamp for serious collectors. I did not state that one isn't a serious collector unless they have this stamp.

Siegel only deals in stamps for the serious collector which is why you won't see parents bringing their kids to a Siegel auction looking for Disney topicals.

A beautiful stamp it is! I maybe a newb here but I think the stamp went for less than it could of been. I don't think I will ever be able to acquire a stamp like this one, but I'm not saying never.

I've really never seen a used copy of this stamp oddly? I know they must exist. Werent these sort of targeting the general collector with the Zeppelins? What I mean is the stringent quality control of these and how you will never find a natural straight edge or many, if any, EFO's of them?

My copy is used and abused. Got it cheap so its a space filler until I get something better.
