I've been collecting for 25 years and just started learning more about precancels, local post collecting, mailer postal permits, etc. It's fun to pick up new interests and keep things fresh.

I'm glad you did too Tina.

We have a lot of fun here and I've learned so much. I'm even making up my own Canadian album. I'm going to attemp to check 'tagging' and watermarks today.

Dianne, I may not be 100 % sure, but I think that there are no Canadian Stamps with watermarks.

You're probably right bob. I just left the earlier pages that had 'tagged stamps' and stamps with different perfs I guess I just assumed some of the earlier ones would have watermarks too.

Yes blocks of 1 stamp image are generally 4 and sometimes more if there are multiple stamps images on the same sheet. There are also Plate Blocks which include the printing plate numbers on the selvage (edge, extra side paper) in a corner of a sheet of stamps. These are also collectible mint, used, and on covers especially First Day Covers.
