Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries just issued their 2014-15 duck stamp on June 1st, a pair of White Fronted Geese a/k/a locally as "Specklebelly". Louisiana started issuing duck stamps in 1989.

Personally I would never shoot a duck nor goose, nor any thing but I understand on some degree-just wish the waterfowl would have a better chance. We are told it is needed for the benefit of ducks and geese? I do enjoy purchasing the stamps though for my own collecting pleasure and to help the waterfowl.
