I have inherited an album of US Stamped Envelopes which includes different size envelopes. I have referenced Scott 2010 Specialized Catalogue of U. S. Stamps & Covers to determine values but the various envelope sizes are not indicated in the pricing listings. Is there a more thorough source for pricing stamped envelopes? Does envelope size affect values all else being equal? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan Carazo

The specialist catalogs that you need are published by the United Postal Stationery Society. There is a catalog for the 19th century issues and another for the 20/21st century issues. These can be ordered from upss.org, the society's web site. They are available in print and in pdf form. Theoretically, the Scott catalog provides the value for the cheapest envelope variety.
