I have a post card dated 1918. It has two 1 cent 1 George Washington stamps on it. One stamp is perforated on all sides and the other is only perforated on two sides and the bottom. The top is 1 mm of white paper where the perforations should be. Dose anyone know about this. Thanks for your input.

A picture/scan would help but my immediate response is that someone cut the Perforation off the top. There were no booklets issued in the 1cent Washington stamps. All the sheets that I am aware of were perforated on all four sides. Where you tear the selvage off.

Tin1Gin2 -- there is a tutorial for uploading photos on the left menu on this and every SCF page.

Sorry it took awhile to post this picture. The stamp on the left is missing the top perforations. At the top of the white margin is a very fine green colored line. Same color as Washington. Thanks

The stamp on the left is from a sheet margin. Printed in sheets of 400 and cut into four panes of 100, the outer edge stamps were not perforated.

Tin1Gin2...I am no pro with American stamps, but I think the left stamp is a from a 498e or 498f booklet...Could be wrong.

BTW...Welcome to the forum...
