I'm considering a purchase of this 183 for my 'oddities' collection...

Underinked or faded?

Perhaps previously oxidised or supheted (browned or rusted) and then dipped through a quick wash or cleaning or hydrogen peroxide?

I am not very familiar with this series but orange and reddish and green inks, depending on the ink pigment contents (lead) sometimes do rust somewhat.

It looks faded but too clean somehow.
