What To Do With Grandmothers Revenue Collection?

My Grandmother passed a few years ago, and I purchased her collection from the estate. She never had a lot of money, and she purchased mostly mint from the post office, and used from mystic. She also traded at her local stamp club. As she grew older and her mind started to go, she would often make a mess of her albums. Pulling stamps out, then dropping a pile on the floor by accident etc.
I sold off the newer mint stamps, and kept the 2 oldest US albums, and her back of book album. These were really her favorite, and also the stuff I seem to like. I have not touched them wondering what I wanted to do. I've decided to start working on the revenue/back of book album which is a mix of Scott pages and others.
I want to honor her, and what I am thinking of doing is purchasing a new Scott revenue album (unless you can recommend a better album), and moving the stamps over. I also have a bunch of revenue I have been hoarding in a stock book.
I have mixed feelings about messing with her album. Because it was hers. Its a mess as you can see from the picks. (Her other albums were in much better shape, she worked on this one toward the end) But I think it is unworkable as is. Maybe I can put a small mark next to her stamps in my new album so I know they came from her?
What would you all do?
The picks are to you what I am dealing with, not to highlight the stamps. I did not picture all the pages, just the revenue ones. I am sure there are stamps misidentified.
By the way she belonged to the Finger Lakes Stamp Club in Geneva NY if any of you are members.

To honor your Grandmother you should reorganize and catalog correctly...1st. I think you should but a SCOTT"SPECIALIZED STAMP" Catalog so you can correctly I.D. the stamp's.You have a pretty cool collection going there! Do Gramma right!! FYI- the officials (the first two pages) are actually not revenues, they were postage for the various government departments.

Hello, I do have the Scott catalog. I also realize the first scans are not revenue. I was not going to post those picks and somehow they snuck in.
Would anyone recommend a good album?

It's a real conundrum, and I have been in a similar position. In some ways, what you have looks fine if it were tidied it up and the loose stamps re-affixed. It is what it is - a collection, and there's no rule saying the pages have to match or anything. On the other hand, you could enhance the whole thing by doing as you suggest and expanding and improving it as a working collection rather than an heirloom fixed in time.

I opted for the latter, by the way. I have re-organsied and re-mounted my grandfather's entire collection, adding material of my own - but using the same brand albums he used to have. I guess you just need to decide what she would have prefered you to do - leave it as her collection, or take pleasure from improving it your own way. I've always had that in mind in my own case, and I think Grandad would have liked what I've done with his stamps (and they'll always be his, so far as I'm concerned).

I'd say the stamps themselves are the important part and your grandmother would be proud to see you mount them in a new album. I had a messy, but very nice, collection (still working on it too) I picked up a few years ago, and feel honored to be sorting things and remounting them in new albums. Those stamps deserve a nice place to stay :)

Think of it as moving in to a new home... As long as you bring the family and furniture, you're doing great :)

As far as albums, Scott sells the revenue sections in 2 parts and are quite nice. I believe the older National albums had a very nice section of revenues in them that would have spaces for nearly everything you've shown. You could pick up a 70's US National fairly inexpensively on ebay.
