Are you kidding ? I even remember Arthur Godfrey ads for Old Gold cigaretes..smoked a few myself when I was 15 or so !! |

I don't rember this, but this is the type of stamps I love! I love 40's era images, and the colors they used. I may have to try to find these.... |

 I always wondered if Lidice Czechoslovakia had a post office and if so how many postmarks are found on stamps or covers , so sad that a whole town was wiped off a map completely , this included bulldozing and razing everything , no trace of streets or cemeteries |
