Sorting Machine Damage

Here's one from today's mail. I know this image is a little bigger than the standard dimensions, but I wanted you to be able to look closely at the line "scored" across the bottom of the stamps. Actually, it goes the length of the envelope. I assume it is from the sorting machine.



I don't mean to constantly complain about the USPS, but between the machinery and the marker monkey, it's getting very difficult to collect modern, postally used stamps.

Three words, written in red ink to the right of your return address can be your friend: "HAND CANCEL ONLY"

Unfortunately, the USPS is run by the very same kind of people who run McDonalds, Walmart and the U.S. government. Many, if not most, are good hardworking people. It's the rest that give workers everywhere a bad reputation.
