Stamppaige,
Are you referring to a pre-printing fold? If so, they are not common and do command a premium. However, the premium depends on how significant that they are and yours doesn't seem to be very drastic.

Regardless, I am not learned enough to state an absolute value. I am responding because that stamp appears to have a grill. Can you provide a clear scan of the back for us to help you identify what grill that it has?

I'm wondering if Ryan is thinking what I was thinking here.....do some of the grill points look like they could be horizontal? Would love to see the back of this stamp....

Sorry for the delay, hope these shots are better. I'd be real interested to see what you think. Trying to see if it is a rarity/value stamp. I am sorting through 150 newly aquired 19th century stamps with my brother. Thanks

I do not see a pre-printing fold, I see a diagonal crease. I am not clear on what sort of "printing error" the OP has in mind. Perhaps someone (they) could enlighten me?

If the "problem" is the perf registration with the design, that is not the sort of problem anyone wants to see. It does not command a premium. As for the grill points, I still would have to wait to see a larger image.

I think the poster is talking about the centering. This is just a damaged, badly centered stamp with almost no value.

Stamppaige,
The others are probably correct that you do not have a pre-printing fold. However, we have not seen an image that allows us to identify what type of grill that your stamp has. It is probably a common type, but we cannot identify it with the poor quality images that you have provided. A scan at 1200 dpi or higher would be preferred.

Regardless of high value or rare or not, I would like to see a clear scan of the backside.
