There is also Skinner and Eno United States Cancellations 1845-1869. I do not have that, as I do not have any stamps prior to 1887. |

Skinner and Eno, is another catalog for your reference, for any cancels you may have questions about, in your collection.
Yours does look like the NC-9 shown in the Cole catalog.

Off the top it looks to me like a Cincinnati numeral killer. I didn't check though.
If you think you will be doing a lot with postal markings, including cancels, then you might look into membership in the US Cancellation Club. They have a quarterly journal, and do have international members. |
