This is a great educational piece to show why other stamps are cut crooked or short

ikey,
Nifty and valid idea.

Good to see you on this subforum.

Perhaps limit the sarcasm to an amount that is appreciable and understandable by most?

Cheers.

1) Cut a mask so as to show only the proposed single stamp.

2) Put "Revisit the issue" on your ToDo list, the place where tasks go to die.

Ikey, The first suggestion I'm actually considering for the future. I'm hoping to create a display of 1851-57 3 cent'ers. Having a sliding mask to cover/reveal a pair like this might be fun.

The second suggestion is and has been the story of my collecting life thus far. Mostly it's full of "is it single or double line watermark"...But it's a safe place, quiet and dry, but way to crowded.

Stampcrow,

Make a nice high-resolution color copy and cut that.

Good idea! Why didn't I think of that. And it's imperforated so no worry about creating perforations!
