The scott #554 letter (d) mint/never hinged perf 10 top or bottom

2011 scott cv $17,500. The stamp in the photo scan keeps reading

perf 10 bottom and top,, wow I said to myself. "it is a p#block scott 554 definitely"!

But the perforation seems to be a bit larger than perf 11.Just maybe I found the perfect "jackpot" stamp?

That's my question? Is it very possibe that I found a p#block with four,i mean (4) perf 10s? It would make this p #block worth ($17,500 x 4)=$70,000:

Not an expert on American stamps but if it says perf 10 top or bottom I believe it would mean either the top or bottom well be perfed 10 and the other 3 sides would be perfed 11. Could be wrong though and hears hoping you might have something. A specialty catalog would give you all the perf arrangements available.

Your stamps are not 554 at all. From the "Durland Standard plate Number Catalog", plate 21678 is one of the "experimental-eye plates", of Scott 634, so it is a slightly better plate number than normal. If you check carefully, you will find your stamps are perf 11x10.5

Maybe perf-10 on ZERO sides is the most valuable variety of all - and we are all rich !

You don't need to buy expensive catalogs to find this one...you don't even need to use a perf gauge.
To identify any US stamp with a plate number, simply use the free Stamp Smarter Plate Number tool to look it up. You can enter the plate number into the tool and it will tell you the Scott number.
Tool is available here http://www.stampsmarter.com/pnt_landing.html

It's a rotary press printed stamp rather than a flat plate printed stamp due to the horizontal perforations (in this case) not perforating all the way through the whole selvage margin.

The thanks go to my best friend and wife of 35 years - she was the one who entered most of the 44,000 plate numbers!
