I believe you have one item that is not a precancel. The one on the last line, last stamp has what looks like a regular cancel on it.
I am not sure about the strip of two with the Cincinnati Ohio on it. It could be a precancel, but also looks like some sort of roller cancel.

I think the question is another hope that the Kansas City mo stamp with the check mark above is a #596. But again I think it's the wrong color. Also wron precancel if I'm not mistaken. Should be 2 line cancel not 3 line. I am by far not an expert but I did double check the census from the link below.

i also enjoy the treasure hunt and have found some good stamps! Nothing like a 596, but still fun to look. First, it has to be 11 x 11. Most of yours as you said are 11 x 10.5. The yellow green color will let you know quickly that it is wrong too. Happy hunting!

Yes, the 'thrill' of the hunt can be fun. But to get the most productive input it is best to follow a few simple steps.

Rare stamps are just that; rare. Always assume that you have the most common stamps then work your way through the process of elimination. Start with the stamp design, then perforations, then watermarks. This will usually eliminate the majority of the 'rare' stamps. Leave color and measurements as the very last step. Dimensions you find in catalogs and online are estimates and the margin of error in measuring can be significant. It is best to make a template out of other (cheaper or damaged) stamps to compare with.

Also dig into as much education as you can get. Get specialize catalog for your area of interest. If you like US stamps consider Stamp Smarter website (http://www.stampsmarter.com/).
