Hello, all -

For a while now, I've been tossing around the idea of organizing part of my collection for purposes of presentation but haven't gotten around to doing it. The subject would be stamps and postal history of the WWI period (1914-1919), which is the main focus of my collection. If anyone has some advice on how to put such a presentation together, I'd appreciate hearing it.

Is this going to be a framed display, an online display, a powerpoint presentation, etc? Whom will be the viewers of the presentation?

Thanks for the links, stamperdude; that was a nice-looking presentation, by the way.

To try and answer your questions: Of what you listed, I'll probably aim for an online display. There's little if any local interest in a physical display, and nowhere in the area to get supplies for one, so the online route seems best.

Thanks. I fell a bit short on description with my frames. I had 2 pages that were separate: 1 was a title page with an brief history & cultural touch stones on Route 66 and the other briefly described each frames contents. I would say start at the beginning and work forward filling in spaces as you go 1 page at a time. Be sure to make it pleasing to the eye: your only limitation is your imagination. Try doing a search for online philatelic displays. There are some good pointers and examples out there.
